State of play of the CPVO Strategic plan 2016-2021

The CPVO has been drafting the strategic plan for the coming years, and had launched a stakeholder consultation through an on-line survey to obtain feedback and input on the future direction of the Office.

The CPVO developed an all-new e-communication tool, called "MyPVR". It was launched on 12 January 2017 on the CPVO website. MyPVR is the client portal for all contacts with the CPVO, aiming to computerise all steps in the application process, and further enhance electronic interaction between applicants and the CPVO. Announcement n◦ 1/2017 of the Community Plant Variety Office. New annual and examination fees

The Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2141 of 6 December 2016 amending Regulation (EC) No 1238/95 as regards the level of the annual fee and of the examination fees payable to the CPVO has been published in the Official Journal of the EU L332/13 of 7 December 2016. The new fees apply as from 1 January 2017.

Launch of EIPIN Innovation Society ITN/EJD Marie Sklodowska Curie project: 15 fully-funded PhD positions

The European IP Institutes Network (EIPIN), a consortium of leading research and training centres in intellectual property, has been awarded a prestigious Horizon 2020 grant, under the Marie Skłodowska Curie Action ITN-EJD.
