Around this variety, a project has been built involving Fondazione Fojanini, producers and the Lombardy Region, eventually developing into an organised value chain.     CPVO Introduces New Administrative Fees for Objection and Nullity Proceedings

    The Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) has recently announced the implementation of new administrative fees for two specific procedures conducted through its E-Proceedings module. Commencing on 2 October 2023, MyPVR users intending to file an Objection against a candidate variety will be required to pay a fee of EUR 350. Similarly, those seeking to obtain a Nullity of a previously granted title will be subject to a fee of EUR 600.

    Plant breeding Success Stories: Instituto Murciano de Investigación y Desarollo Agrario y Medioambiental (IMIDA)

    In this second issue of plant breeding success stories we discuss the incredible success of a crossbreeding programs in creating new grapevine varieties that possess improved agronomic and oenological qualities, thereby enhancing the production of quality wine and promoting sustainable viticulture.
