Call for expression of interest for QAS technical experts 2019-2021

The CPVO is setting up a list of Technical Experts for the next three years to participate in missions of the quality audit service (QAS) for the assessment of entrusted examination offices.

Any interested and suitably qualified Technical Experts are encouraged to send in their candidature to the CPVO Quality Audit Service by the end of July 2018.

Marie Curie Post-Doc positions within EIPIN Innovation Society

The CPVO is a partner Institution to the EIPIN-Innovation Society doctoral programme under the EU-funded Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska Curie Action (MSCA) ITN-EJD. The EIPIN-Innovation Society is run by a consortium of leading research and training centres making use of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions to support researchers at all stages of their careers, regardless of age and nationality.

Announcement n◦ 1/2018 of the Community Plant Variety Office. Decision of the Administrative Council of the Community Plant Variety Office on test guidelines 21/03/2018

Technical examinations which are initiated or are to be approved by the Community Plant Variety Office must be performed in accordance with the test guidelines which have been adopted by the Administrative Council. Technical examinations started prior to the decision are not affected unless otherwise announced. The plant species concerned as well as the date of the decision are accordingly published in the Official Gazette of the Office. UPOV PRISMA PBR Application Tool is here!

The CPVO is happy to join version 2.0 of the UPOV PRISMA PBR online application tool as from 09/02/2018.

The CPVO developed an online application system in the past and 96% of the applications for Community plant variety rights were filed online in 2017. UPOV released in 2017 UPOV PRISMA, whereby breeders can submit applications in any participating UPOV Members for a range of pilot species (Rose, apple, potato, lettuce and soybean).
