In order to better reflect the real costs of DUS testing by the examination offices, the CPVO Administrative Council proposed to the Commission a new set of costs for examinations.

On 5 June 2014, the CPVO held a seminar on enforcement in close cooperation with the Croatian Ministry of Agriculture and the international breeders organizations, ESA and CIOPORA, in Zagreb, Croatia. Its main purpose was to raise awareness to stakeholders such as breeders, farmers, producers, lawyers and officials on the rules and practical implementation of the enforcement of plant variety rights.
