Conferences and Events

In the framework of the " Made in Angers 2020 " activities organised by Angers Loire Valley, the CPVO will open its doors to the public everyday from 17 to 21 February 2020. A presentation of CPVO activities and a visit of the CPVO building will take place on these days at 14h30. Registration is necessary.

The Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) and the French Variety and Seed Study and Control Group ( GEVES ) will be present in a joint booth at SIVAL 2020 where our experts will be available to discuss the latest developments in plant production and infom visitors about EU plant breeders' rights.

On 20 September 2018 a seminar on “The benefits of Plant Variety Protection” will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria. The seminar is organised by the CPVO in collaboration with the Executive Agency for Variety Testing, Field Inspection and Seed Control of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (the “Bulgarian Agency”). The main objective of the seminar is to promote investments in plant breeding and benefits in protecting new plant varieties at national or EU level.
