    IPM Essen 2021

    The CPVO will be present at IPM Essen, Germany, from 26 to 29 January 2021 where we will hold a joint booth together with the Bundessortenamt (BSA), the French Variety and Seed Study and Control Group (GEVES) and the Netherlands Inspection Service for Horticulture (Naktuinbouw).

    Salon du Végétal

    "Salon du végétal" is back to the city of Angers this year with a special focus on sustainable and future-proof vegetal production. Given the covid-19 outbreak, the format of the trade show has been adjusted and will be organised as follows:

    A digital event on 14-15 September 2020 A trade show at "Palais des Expositions" of Angers on 10-11 February 2021

    The Community Plant Variety Office will be present at both events.

    Intellectual Property: the European Commission would like to hear your views!

    In the context of the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union, the European Commission and the Community Plant Variety Office have published updated guidance for stakeholders regarding the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union and the EU rules applicable in the field of Community Plant Variety Rights.

    Video: DUS technical examination

    In the context of a webinar organised with Végépolys Valley to explain the European Union's PVR system, the Community Plant Variety Office has produced together with GEVES a short video explaining the technical examination (DUS) process for candidate varieties of Hydrangea. The video is currently available in French and the full webinar recorded today by Végépolys Valley will be made available on the CPVO website in September.
