Notice No 6/2000 of the Community Plant Variety Office in respect of the technical examination of varieties of sugar beet, with the exception of commercial hybrids

As from the date of this publication, varieties of sugar beet, with the exception of commercial hybrids for which Community Plant variety rights have been applied for, will be examined on behalf of the CPVO at the following examination office only:

STATENS  UTSÄDESKONTROLL (SUK) ve Svalöv, Sweden.

The attention of the applicant is drawn to the fact that for new applications for Community Plant Variety Rights, hte CPVO will not make use any longer, from the date of publication of the present announcement for new applications for Community Plant Variety Rights, of examination reports resulting from any technical examination which has been carried out, or is in hte process of being carried out for official purposes in any other Member State for varieties of sugarbeet, with the exception of commercial hybrids.

Closing date for receipt of application at the Community Plant Variety Office: 1 February 2001.

Submission date: 15 February 2001.

Germination capacity: minimum 80%

Quantity and Quality: 1kg. This quantity is calculated for a thousand-seed-weight (TSW) of 10g. A different TSW has to be considered accordingly.
