The way EU institutions, agencies and bodies, including the CPVO, deal with personal data has just changed. These changes are introduced by the new data protection Regulation for EU institutions, agencies and bodies (Regulation 2018/1725), applicable as of 11 December 2018.

The new rules give you more control over your data. They are designed to ensure personal information is protected, no matter where it is sent, processed or stored.

Read the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) factsheets on how the new rules affect you and what are your rights in the digital era. Watch the video and check the CPVO guide to ensuring accountability.

Think data protection!
