Many clients reported they receive an increasing amount of unsolicited mail from a “so called” staff member of CPVO usurping her/his identity, requesting payment for invoices.

If you receive suspicious or unsolicited e-mail messages, never follow links or open attachments, and never  transfer funds until you have checked that the source is official.

The CPVO never sends that kind of emails.

If you receive such an email please check that the email comes from this type of email : name [at] cpvo.europa.eu (name[at]cpvo[dot]europa[dot]eu)

If you have any doubts or if you identify any new cases, please contact us.
